Who is Andre?

Andre’s diverse background and experiences give him unique perspectives on life. From 5-star mutual fund manager¹ and financial planner/wealth manager for individuals, families and businesses to youth ministry, art, music, acting, athletics, writing and speaking, he has “seen a thing or two.”

He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in fine arts. He has done illustration and design, painting and photography on a semi-professional basis. He spent ten years in youth ministry and was also a guitarist/singer/song-writer in a couple Christian bands.

He then worked with his father’s company, and upon its sale he tried making ends meet in the arts, including professional acting. He found out why they are called “starving artists” and, with a family including three young children, he had to get a “real job”.

A friend invited him into the financial services arena, and that became his main gig. He founded a financial advisory firm and co-founded a private equity fund, serving individuals, families, businesses and non-profit organizations as well as managing mutual funds. He merged his company into his current firm, Quantum Financial Advisors, Inc., where he is Director of Wealth individuals, families, businesses, churches and non-profit organizations, helping them with their financial management and fund-raising

He has been an All-American swimmer, a National Masters Champion, 6th in the world, and has swum the Alcatraz “Sharkfest Swim” twice at ages 56 and 60, finishing as high as 3^rd in his age group. He has regretfully allowed himself to get out of shape, and one of his goals is to overcome some rotator cuff and leg problems and get back into competition.

He is an award-winning author, having written three books: Help My Unbelief, Don’t Ever Take Away My Freedom!, and Becoming One Financially. He has also written a workbook, Seeking the Abundant Life. Here his diverse background and expertise surfaces, writing

with knowledge and wisdom on subjects including financial planning, the USA’s founding documents, and faith.

His unusual life has also included part-time professional acting in movies, TV shows, commercials and on stage. Among those experiences included very small parts in films and TV shows with Jack Nicholson, Danny Divito, Bruce Willis, Theresa Russell, and Martin Sheen. It is another area in which he has not been able to spend time in recent years but is thankful for his experiences.

His mission as a speaker is to finish his race strong and share his knowledge, wisdom and experience as well as his challenges and failures to help as many people as possible. Among his greatest treasures are failures. He has experienced many from which he has gained valuable insight and wisdom and is not shy in sharing them with audiences.

Among the most important experiences are those centered around faith and family. He is greatly thankful for his blended family including 8 children and a bunch of grandchildren. “Above all, love…” (1 Peter 4:8)

Andre has spoken to many groups, been interviewed on TV and quoted in various publications. And he can adapt his content to your people and purpose.
